Bhagavad Gita : A guidebook to life

The whole narration of the Bhagavad Gita takes place on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, upon which Pandavas and Kauravas are preparing for battle. The conversation is between Krishna and Arjuna over his dilemma of having to choose between two sides of his family - what is duty? what is good and what is evil?

The Lord's response to this dilemma is timeless and appropriate even to this day. It speaks to anyone who ever feels as though their mind is a battlefield…

The Bhagavad Gita encourages us to live life with purity, strength, discipline, honesty, kindness and integrity. Thereby, we can find our purpose and live it fully. Just as Krishna encourages Arjuna to cast aside all doubts and trust in his highest Self, we too can use the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita to meet our own difficulties and decisions with fearlessness and honesty.

Submit to the higher self, let go of ego, realize that you are born with a purpose!

So, when you go through everyday battles with self, remember the greater good.
